The Annual Stockholm World Water Week is upcoming, August 23 - September 1, 2022.
AquaFed and its members are excited to be back again at the most important annual water and wastewater event. This year's edition focuses on "Seeing the unseen, the Value of Water". It is the first time that the World Water Week will be fully "hybrid". Check out the official programme here.
AquaFed, in partnership with Women for Water will host "Pop-up sessions" as #Flashmobs throughout the week, just as in the World Water Forum in Senegal. Our focus is on mentoring the next generation of water professionals, especially young professional women. We aim to organise useful and informal sessions between employers and profesionals, trying to coach them in their water careers. Stay tuned for the finalised programme but already note the following rendez-vous:
- August 29 at 15.30 - Nora Latin
- August 30 at 15.00 - in cooperation with the Women Water Diplomacy Network and SIWI
- September 1 at 12.30 - after the 2023 Session
AquaFed and Women for Water are trying to bring high-profile and successful water women to the discussions, as we have done in past editions of the World Water Week. Stay tuned for more updates or please drop us a line at firstname.lastname@example.org.
In addition, AquaFed will participate in a wide range of sessions organised by UNWater, the Government of the Netherlands and Tajikistan and Sanitation and Water for All.
