AquaFed was a Board member of the World Water Council for the last six years and we are now represented by one of our members, the French national private operator association, FP2E.

We contribute to the Council’s working groups, including the group on finance. But our major activity is being involved in the organization and participating at the World Water Forums.

At the most recent Forum in Bali, we took the lead to organise the conference sessions under the theme of Water, Security and Prosperity. Our members were also able to share their expertise in more than 20 sessions and in four ministerial-level panels.
 

CURRENT WORK

The final outcomes of the Bali Forum include trying to scale up the use of nature-based solutions by utilities. We are working with The Nature Conservancy to accelerate progress on this issue.
